Design collection for the establishment
(enorth.com.cn) Oct 7, 2003 --- Design Competition to commemorate the 600 Anniversary of the establishment of Jin city launched its public display in Tianjin Artistic exhibition Center. On the first day enthusiastic Tianjinese flooded in to the exhibition spot to enjoy those excellent designs. The 20-days collection, which began from early September, and ended later that month, was supported by people from all social ranges, including professional and amateur designers, students and teachers of the Art colleges, common citizens. Even overseas students and people from other provinces took part in the competition.  Be full of cultural content, some of the designs, with their particular structure of the picture, are based on the modern buildings and architecture, some are characteristic with the human and geography environment, and some are featured in traditional culture or modern metropolitan life. Whether it is a concrete drawing of some construction, or it just own an abstract meaning, the main stream is to show the fresh atmosphere around the Tianjin City after the reform.  Students from Nankai University, Tianjin University, Tianjin Normal University, Tianjin Institude of Technology, Tianjin Business Institute, Tianjin University of Technology, Tianjin Industry University, Tianjin Institute of Fine Art¡¡, participate the competition. The exhibition will last 5 days, and the winning design will stand out on August 11. After three-round selections, 6 design are chosen for the championship. Tomorrow, what the result would be?
