Dr. Xu Jingjun was born in April 1966. In December 1993, He got a Doctorine degree from the Physical Department of Nankai University. From Febrary to June 1997, he was an invited professor in Experimental Physics Department of Viena University in Austria. Now Doc. Xu is the head of Physical College photonics center of Nankai University. Since 1996, he has moderated several research projects of National Excellent Youth Fund, Cross-century Talents Fund of the Education Ministry. "863" projects, National Natural Science Fund and Funds for the Returning Chinese Scientists.

Xu Jingjun has been undertaking the research in photonics and now gets great achievements: 1,he is world's first people who discover and estbalish a theory on "Effects of Ultra-hydronium photonic Refracting"; 2, he is the first scientist who discover "Photon intensity's threshold effects of Light refracting, light Span and Light Scattered" ; 3, he invites many technologies for "photon refracting Noise Prevention" which provides foundation for "Holographic Record of non-noise photon refracting"; 4, He successfully develops lots of new photn components and high efficient 3-dimention optical storage disk. ¡¡¡¡

Being a headmaster of Physical College, Doc Xu thinks that the devleopment of the college must break the tradtional policies to absorb excellent talents. he introduced that the Physics College is always the one which finish its distributed tasks. The college trains professional talents for domestic critical departments and oversea university. When talking about the pressure during his work, he honestly says that his work is to build a powerful team who will make greater accomplishments for the motherland. Being the explorer in phtom technolgies, Doc Xu will still make unremitting efforts in his field.
